Serving at Lake LA Baptist Church is simple. We welcome willing hands and humble hearts to help us love our neighbors, share the gospel, and encourage the body of Christ.

Sunday Hospitality
Arrive a little early to welcome families, guide guests, and prepare the sanctuary for worship at 11:00 AM.

Food Distribution Team
Help prepare boxes, pray with families, and serve our community every Sunday at 12:30 PM after worship.

Prayer & Follow-Up
Encourage people through prayer, visits, and notes through the week, especially after Thursday Bible Study at 6:00 PM.
Weekly Rhythm
Every gathering is an opportunity to serve. Here are the moments when extra hands are most helpful.
Sunday School
10:00 AM
Help children and adults settle in with Scripture materials and prayer.
Sunday Worship
11:00 AM
Serve through greeting, sound setup, and children’s classes.
Food Distribution
12:30 PM
Carry boxes, pray with families, and offer a smile of encouragement.
Bible Study
Thursday · 6:00 PM
Set up chairs, help with kids, and share in Scripture discussion.
Scripture Guided
We open the Bible together before we serve so that every task flows from the Word of God.
People First
Serving means noticing needs, listening well, and showing Christlike compassion.

We pray before, during, and after we serve—asking the Lord to bear fruit in every life.

If you are willing, we will walk with you step by step.
Do I need experience? ▼
No. We will show you what to do and serve alongside you until you feel comfortable.
What about serving with children? ▼
Children’s helpers complete a simple orientation and background check so families can feel at ease.
Can I serve once a month? ▼
Yes. We will work with your schedule and plug you in where you can be faithful and fruitful.
